CBC News interviewed Winnipeg’s Sandra Kirby who is the only Canadian selected to umpire at the Paralympic Games in the United Kingdom. Kirby was an Olympic rower as stroke of the Canadian Women’s quad in the 1976 Montreal event, as well as an internationally-recognized expert, researcher and advocate on child protection in sports.
